====== Anima Effects ====== [ [[exalted3:index|Back]] ] Anima increases one level every time an exalt spends 5+ motes in 1 instant. It takes 15 min to recede one level. Page 175-177. **Levels:** * **Dim:** Invisible * **Glowing:** Caste mark appears and solar is outlined with the colors of the sun. Stealth/disguise has a -3 penalty * **Burning:** Anima blazes brightly, subsuming the caste mark. Things in range of the anima become warm to the touch. Stealth is impossible. * **Bonfire/Iconic:** Anima ignites in a grand display of iconic splendor, visible for miles. Illuminates area out to short range, banishing shadows. ===== Dawn ===== * **At Bonfire/Iconic:** Add 1/2 (Essence), round up, to initiative upon resetting to base initiative after a decisive attack. * **For 10 motes:** All combat and movement charms with outstanding reset conditions are automatically reset. Once per day, available again at sunrise. * **Free:** Add 1/2 (essence), round up, in dice to all intimidating social influence. May also intimidate targets who don't feel fear, such as golems, automatons, and undead. ===== Twilight ===== * **For 5 motes:** Gain 5 Hardness (reflexive) for one turn. **At Bonfire/Iconic**, this activates automatically at no cost. Does not stack with other magical Hardness. **Can** be used during initiative crash. * **For 10 motes:** On her next turn, the exalt vanishes into her anima and ceases to exist. If the exalt moves or suffers knockdown before her next turn, it fails and the effect is wasted. The exalt will not reappear until the following sunset within 10 miles of the vanish point, chosen by the ST. * **For 10 motes:** Touch an essence 1-3 elemental or demon of the first circle. Roll Int + Occult against the creature's resolve. If successful, it becomes a familiar of the Twilight. It can be targeted with appropriate survival charms. 3 motes allows you to reflexively summon the spirit. Creature can be banished again reflexively. Twilight can have (Essence) familiars bound in this fashion. ===== Night ===== * **For 2 motes:** Can treat peripheral mote expenditures as personal for one instant. * **For 3 motes:** Can ignore up to (3 or Essence, whichever is higher) penalties to a Stealth attempt for one instant. These motes are always considered Personal, regardless of which pool they are from. * **At Bonfire/Iconic level:** Their Anima obscures the exalt, making their identity impossible to discern. This is a perfect effect, and cannot be pierced by Eye of the Unconquered Sun or any other all-seeing magic.
