A 75 mile long front centered on [[farne:locations:Dimmersdel|Dimmersdel]] separates the western [[farne:locations:Upper Thalia|Thalian]] province.  A no-mans land of 2-3 miles separates the combatants, though before the gates of Dimmersdel, a small white tent sits.  Surrounding the tent are banners from the provinces loyal to [[farne:actors:Tenris Melfir|Duke Melfir]] and [[farne:actors:Sanria Veris|Sanria Veris]].  As nobles talk, th soldiers sit idle.

Meanwhile, in [[farne:locations:Alestia|Alestia]], the Electors have fled the city or hired manifest bodyguards to protect them against the [[farne:organizations:Gateeepers of Enma|Keepers of Enma]].  In the previous week, one elector per day has been assassinated (including one in a brazen attack in the middle of a committee meeting!).  The success of the diabolical assassins, has, at a minimum begun to shake the resolve of that august body.  The immediate result, however, has been the cessation and paralysis of the Alestian government.   

In an unrelated note, the [[farne:locations:Occluded Rainbow Inn|Occluded Rainbow Inn]] sits closed as its proprietor and his family have mysteriously vanished.
