The stalemate at [[farne:locations:Seldermoor|Seldermoor]] continues as [[farne:actors:Tenris Melfir|Duke Melfir's]] forces begin their push towards the city, methodically forcing the defenders towards the gates.  The outer wings of Melfir's armies have begun the encirclement of the city.  [[farne:actors:Sanria Veris|Duchess Veris']] army sits, seemingly idle.

Meanwhile, the fallout in [[farne:locations:Alestia|Alestia]] over the [[farne:actors:Jain Talpin|Talpin bribery scandal]] continues, with a net of distrust being cast over all of his supporters.  The Alestian military gridlock seems to have been resolved, with units once again following orders.  The buildup along the [[farne:locations:Shesslia|Shesslian]] border has been halted, with units moving back into defensive positions along the [[farne:locations:Upper Thalia|Thalian]] frontier.
