So Serendipity ported me back to her room, where we proceeded to have hot, mind-blowing sex. Thanks to my convincing, she was definitely in the throes of lust, just like I was. After we were spent and I had regained my wits, I quickly jumped to Vana's to escape. I think the others were suspicious that me and Serendipity just forgot about the conflict and ran off to have some fun, but they didn't press it. I mean, I'm not sure what else I could've told them, since it was the truth.

Anyways, we decided now it was time to strike at Kaz. We picked up some grumpy old codger, a Hathandar cleric who kept giving me the evil eye. On the way to the gem, Nemesis showed up, Melfir in tow. Guess since she's tasked with guarding him, they can't be apart. Anyways. she came to offer us a deal. She no longer wished to be in Anzja's service. If we defeated Kaz, then Anzja would no longer have her powers, and Nemesis and Serendipity would be free. Though one of their services was to protect Anzja, due to the wording, Nemesis didn't feel they were required to do anything to help Kaz (even if something happening to Kaz would most likely affect Anzja). Unfortunately, Serendipity didn't see it that way, so Nemesis offered to take care of Serendipity if we would just leave her alone. I was certainly fine with that, though the others wanted a more strictly worded contract out of her.

With that done, we made our way into the gem. Given Nemesis knew what we were doing, we figured Kaz knew what we were doing, so it was no surprise that he was nowhere to be found in the gem-world. We started our search for Hiroko's sword. A phantom Kaz attacked some of use during the search, but since he was an illusion, he did us no harm. I bumped into Kit and Kat, sunning themselves in skimpy bikinis. I guess I was distracted because next thing I know, I have their tops in my hands and they're playfully chasing me. We all eventually make it to the center of the gem-world (the girls disappeared at some point, boo), where we found Kaz's corpse in the middle of a crater, Hiroko's sword plunged into him. Gee, it seems obvious that it would be in the center, why didn't we check there first. 

Anyhoo, Cassie pulls the sword, and after a vicious fight, our teamwork prevailed and he was defeated. He exploded, his power flowing through us and forcefully ejecting us from the gem. Looks like our ship was pretty damaged, but old cleric dude was fine, though annoyed. I could feel the magic flowing through my veins. I looked at my reflection, and damn, I'm looking good! Once this is all over and we're back in Alestia, no cutie will be able to resist me!
