Pengii was captured by the Fey and became a Penguin fey in an arctic pool, seemingly for some kind of cuteness display. There she met another fey, an Elemental in the form of an arctic current in her pool, whom she came to call "[[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]]".

Not long after Pengii arrived, she and [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] became friends, then lovers. [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] would often speak of escape, and what they would do together once they were back to their world. But Pengii was very skeptical about the success of this idea. She could not see any possible way to outwit the Fey, the Huntsman. To that end, Pengii refused in a passive-aggressive way to be part of [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] plans, and even went to lengths to secretly prevent [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] from being successful by informing the Huntsman's hounds of [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]]'s plans.

Pengii felt bad about doing such a horrible thing to [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]], but [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] needed to realize that her idea just wasn't possible to accomplish, and things were not so bad just staying here, with her. She did not want to give [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] up, and she knew she would have to if [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] ever succeeded in escaping.

But then, one day, [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] disappeared, and never returned. Did she escape? Did the Huntsman finally get sick of her insubordination and kill her? Did she... refuse to tell Pengii of her plans to escape? Such a thought made her cry silently in the back of her pond, her pond that no longer circulated properly. Would she ever see [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] again? Would [[jaeger:svetlana:svetlana_in_faerie|Mizunosei]] ever forgive her for sabotaging her so many times?
