So are escape from Coruscant was eventful, to say the least. As we attempted to leave, we were hailed, and ordered to land. No way we were doing that, so we continued on our way, and they began training the orbital defense grid on us and sent several ships after us. I was ready to shoot them down when a cloaked ship appeared out of nowhere and shot down to of our pursuers. Luckily, that act of aggression caused the orbital defense grid to focus on this new threat, the one actually killing things, allowing us to escape. We took the long way back to the asteroid. One thing we discovered on our multiple jumps to discover our tracks is that this mysterious device acts strangely in hyperspace. But it didn't seem harmful, so we just filed it away as an interesting oddity that we would research or ask about later. Got to the asteroid, and let them know what's what after we landed. The black ship eventually showed back up, and we were summoned to dinner to discuss our reward. This dinner was less awkward, since we actually had something to discuss. We exchanged goods for compensation (which somehow included his odd looking manservant), and then the Baron propositioned us for another job. One where he cuts out the middleman Kreegan. Whatever, its not like I really know the guy. Anyways, apparently he wanted us to acquire a ship for him like the one that was crashed on Coruscant. Apparently the box links many of those ships together, and we could use the box to find a ship more easily retrievable. Which is why he gave us his servant, because apparently the strange man could figure the thing out. After dinner, the Baron dismissed us but asked Savn to say. We returned to the ship, and when Savn met back up, he told us that apparently the baron was Sith and wanted to make Savn his apprentice! I wasn't sure what I hoped his answer would be. The Sith were not ones to take kindly to being refused- I've seen what happens to people who anger them, and at the same time, they always seemed to be a well off lot. It would definitely improve his lot in life if he took up the offer. But then again, working closely with the Sith, there was the potential for problems from my old life to show up. If this was guy really was a Sith, he prolly had an inkling of who I am, but probably just didn't care. But the more people from the Sith empire who knew where I was, the bigger chance of the wrong people from the Sith empire knowing where I was. Savn turned the guy down. So it would be a fight- the Baron outright said he would send his current apprentice (that Jawa Savn kept talking about!) after him. So, we spent a while figuring out how to sneak our weapons into the station proper so we could help him out. Lyndee ended up hacking station security, and we got ready for when Savn turned the Baron's apprenticeship down.
