Game 12

The interior of the keep was populated by tormented souls and eerie noises. We kept formation as we explored forward, with the wolves serving as flankers. We investigated a pair of rooms and were met with ghosts. We managed to put them at ease through the use of the code word 'Lux.' One even showed us a hidden cache of wealth we never would have found.

Eventually we came to the stairwells. We headed down. There was a passage under the sea that provided access to an assault force. There had to have been some betrayal to allow the monsters access to it. More importantly, there was a vault that contained… something. Something wrong.

We headed back upstairs and eventually encountered the head priest. He told us his tale. His torments the last 50 years were made even worse by his self doubt about doing the right thing and his fear of Tyr's final judgement. He did indicate to us that the horde was led by Edranka, Torath and Tyranthraxus. Names we need to learn more of. We also need to visit Mendor in the old city.

After finishing our exploration, we began to head to the docks…

… to be met by 4 longboats with nearly 50 orcs charging at us yelling “that's them, get 'em” or something similar. Clearly somebody has revealed our presence on the island… something seems to be rotten in New Phlan as there was in Old Phlan.
