A titan vs a titan

The Yeti and Remorhaz locked eyes and then proceeded to attack each other. At first I was hoping we could reason with the Yeti, or at worst have some sort of an enemy-of-my-enemy deal going on. That said… it didn't see things that way. While the two began to fight it out, both began throwing attacks our way. Greedy…

Both Logru and Thilius played dentist and inspected the Remorhaz's dentition. Cade pulled up an illusory rock outcrop where we could hopefully hide from the Yeti's gaze. I was calling on all the wolves of the Feywild to come assist while Najila called sped our fighters up. Luckily the Yeti took many of the hits destined for us, and in the end we ended up slaying both beasts. At the bottom of the Remorhaz's pit we uncovered some tableware and a golden ring. Interesting.

We proceeded to inspect the rest of the level. We met up with a ghostly giant child who doesn't seem entirely useful just yet. Maybe she'll will offer some insights in time. We found the former king's bed chambers and dispatched a pair of guardian statues.

After clearing the level, we found a massive breach in the ground as if the land itself heaved to. I'm guessing this is the earthquake the villagers in Drinadok mentioned they heard. Hopefully the chasm below doesn't lead to the underdark… there are nasty things in the deep places of the earth.
