Now that Rath's manse was secured and attuned, our next stop was Isha's new manse. So we hopped in Rath's tornado and headed North.

It was apparently on a large floating mountain. Three riders on giant birds buzzed us, but my arrows scared them off. After, we landed in a town at the base of the mountain. Well, at the base of where the mountain was floating over. Anyways, we ended up at a local inn and started asking what the deal with the mountain was. We also bumped into some Lookshy dude who was also investigating the place, trying to figure out its secrets.

Anyways, the leader of the people who resided on the mountain was named Redfeather, and they don't take too kindly to outsiders, hence the attempt to scare us off. The denizens up there where mostly humans, and the bird people they enslaved due to their superior tech. We were able to arrange a meeting with them, and the next morning we headed up there via basket.

From our meeting with Redfeather, it sounds like they weren't aware of the manse. Isha asked to look around the town, and he assigned a birdperson named Tailwind to escort us. As he gave us the $5 tour, Isha picked at him, trying to learn more about the deal with how this place came to be, and the history of the humans and bird people here and all that. She managed to convince the guy to take us to one of the bird people historians, Gale.

Gale's people cleared the area of demons long ago, then humans came and took over. Isha wanted to know the location of the doors to the First Age towers that loomed over the town. He offered to give us some info by trying to illicit a promise to oust the humans and help the bird people reclaim the area. We weren't here to get embroiled in politics, but Isha promised to do what she could.

So, he assigned his granddaughter Winry to help us, leading us to a bricked up wall beneath his house. We tore down the wall, and were able to get past the door after reciting an inscription on the door that Isha was able to translate. After some wandering around (the place was loaded with scores of essence cannons), we eventually came to a stone golem protecting a stairway. It was not hostile toward us, but it would not let Gale or Belladonna pass. So we left them there and ascended the stairs.

It was a control room, and we quickly figured out this place was actually a giant first age warship, that got its power from local manses surrounding it. Unfortunately, after thousands of years, most of those manses were disconnected or drained. Now that we had a better vantage point in the sky, we could see that it had started resorting to sucking energy from the surrounding vegetation. Anyways, this wouldn't suit our needs, but luckily there was a map that displayed manses and leylines and all that jazz, and we figured we could use that to find something that worked for Isha.

Unfortunately, right as we were about to leave, we were confronted by demons, who thanked us for helping us get them back into the place, and they wanted to reclaim the warship for themselves. Obviously, we couldn't let them do that…
