So even after giving Levi the deets of what was going on in the world, he was still reluctant to help us. Indeed, he questioned what our intentions were if we managed to overcome this latest trial and defeat the big evil? It was clear that he would only help us if we promised not to return to the status quo, that we would work towards getting our kind back to the top of the food chain, to right the world. Sure, why not?

So he agreed to help, and told us we would need to re-take the control room and re-activate the city. He had grown too big and could no longer fit in the entrance that would take one to the control room. So he directed us where to go, warning us to stay to designated areas and away from the denizens of the city. They had been there since the first age, shielded from the events of the past millenia, including the great contagion. As such, he wanted to make sure we didn't accidentally infect them.

Like the previous places we visited, our path to the controls were blocked by traps and robotic defenses. Az and I scaled the tower and snuck in, opening the front gate for the rest of them. There was a trap on the door, powerful essence cannons ready to fire on those who went through, but Isha easily weathered the blasts.

We powered through the tower, defeating the same type of golems we'd encountered before. After defeating them all, Isha wrenched the control trident from the chair as evidence of our triumph, and eventually we got the controls working to surface the city. Unfortunately, we stalled about half way.

The computer gave us an error about one of the pumps. Levi sent some troops to take a look, but lost communication with them. So, we looked into the situation ourselves.
