• As I'm aiming to have a combat sequence every game, you need to have some combat ability
  • Primary attack should be close to 10 dice
  • Parry/Dodge DV should be 5 or higher

Character generation and XP expenditure needs to be done through the Anathema tool. Why? It tracks all of the errata for us and provides a reliable tracking for bonus points and the like. Character generation is complicated, this helps. If there is a short-coming to the tool we will work it out

When using Anathema to build your character, these are the following approved data sources where you can pull powers/equipment from without ST approval. On the “Charms” tab, select “Define” at the top, and unselect any that are not in this list. Same for the Artifacts tab and any other sections where you can limit the data sources.

No more than 5 dots of flaws can be purchased. All merits and flaws must be cleared before selection.

For exalts, ALL values are rounded UP except for the following:

• Natural Lethal Soak (STA/2, round DOWN)
• Climb/Swim Speed (DEX/2, round DOWN)
• Mental DV ((Willpower 5 + Integrity 3 + Essence 4)/2, round DOWN)

With the above in mind, think through some answers for the following

• How old were you when you exalted?
• If you were adopted into the house, why?
  • Did you marry in? Do you have a family? What house did you come from (or are you a plebeian)?
  • Do you come from a plebian background and exalted?
• You were given every educational opportunity, where did you go to school?
• What are your hobbies?
• There aren't many Nellens exaltations, what were you training to be in life before that happy moment?
  • Diplomat? Trader? Soldier?
  • Did you always know you'd exalt? why?
• Do you have any notable friends or enemies?
• Give me a plot hook or two
