• Add one automatic success to a single roll. Only one can be spent per roll, BEFORE the roll is made.
• Increase a single static value (ex: Defense) by 1. Only one can be spend per opposing roll, and it must be done before the roll.
• Reject certain kinds of social influence (chapt 5, p219)
  • Stop a new intimacy from being created.
  • Stop a Major or Defining intimacy from being weakened.
  • Reject a successful inspire action.
• Use a charm that costs willpower

• A good night's sleep restores 1 willpower point. Cannot exceed permanent willpower rating.
• If your character undergoes significant hardship to uphold a Major or Defining intimacy. CAN exceed permanent willpower rating.
• Achieving a major story goal awards 1-3 willpower at ST discretion. These may exceed the permanent willpower rating.
• Performing a 2-pt stunt grants 1 point of willpower. Cannot exceed permanent willpower rating.
• Performing a 3-pt stunt grants 2 points of willpower. CAN exceed permanent willpower rating.
• At the beginning of a new story, your willpower pool is refilled to match permanent willpower rating. (does not take away excess willpower you've acquired from other sources)
• Limit Break resets the character's willpower to the permanent willpower rating. Excess willpower is lost.
