So we stormed in to help Savn. It was pretty much over in a flash. Lyndee took out the little guy as soon as she jumped into the room, such that he was already dead when I jumped in and took a shot, hitting only wall because the jawa had already slumped to the floor.
Of course, the commotion brought Bow'lurr and the rest of station security. We told the truth, the Baron was a Sith who wanted Savn to be his apprentice, and Savn turned him down. We knew the Baron wouldn't take too kindly to that, so we armed ourselves to be ready for his response. Bow'lurr took us at our word, and after sending his guys away, revealed he was part of some secret group that killed force users. Apparently, his group think its some sort of abomination for people to have the sort of powers the Jedi, Sith, and other mystical folks have. Which is one of the more ridiculous things I'd ever heard. I mean, going after those skilled in the ways of the force because they are a mighty challenge, fine by me. But going after them because you don't think they should exist?! Talk about a bunch of retards! I lost respect for the old man upon hearing that.
In any case, there was no time to argue the point, because servant dude noticed some asteroids blowing up in the field, and told us it would lead to a chain reaction that would destroy the station. Given the situation, Bow'lurr decided to leave us be and told us to go, stating not to come back or he'd be forced to kill (or rather, try to) Savn. We got aboard the Tempest, and we felt we owed Kreegan and Bow'lurr enough to try and save them. Human computer guy let us know a few key meteors we could hit to stop the asteroid from getting obliterated. Six to be exact. We managed to destroy the first 5, but were unable to get along the flight path for me to hit the last one. But I switched the guns to full auto and shredded the meteors around it, hoping to destroy the last rock with the shrapnel. I did, and congratulated myself, “Great shot kid, that was one in a million!” My maneuver ended up being more helpful than if we actually shot the rock itself. Robert later said he knew the shot was a possibility, but didn't think I was capable. I showed him!
Anyways, after the asteroid was out of danger, we radioed in various coordinates it could take up new residence and went on our way.
After using Rob's skills to hustle some folks at space pool, he wired the box into the Tempest, and was able to make contact with the network of those ancient ships. Of which there were 17 million. We picked one close by and headed that way. In the interim, Robert gave us some specs on the Baron's ship, and plans on ways to modify the Tempest to utilize the weird fancy hyperdrive system.
We eventually got to the source of the signal, a purplish water planet. The ship was underneath the deep waters and Lyndee hacked into the computer systems to try and get some information. Which got us noticed by some dark spirit that Savn had sensed aboard the ship. It was an old and ancient thing that was quite interested to learn that there was life in the universe. The thing had been so isolated for all this time, it thought there was nothing left out there!
Anyways, we docked with the ship and prepared to go inside.
