I can't believe that worked

Following the kobold onslaught, we convinced the the non-combatants to evacuate. We were able to convince some pixies to lend us their help to turn everybody into birds to allow them to fly to safety. We put them up at the Crimson Accord. With that resolved, the dwarf was reunited with his brother. This allowed us to concentrate on the upcoming auction.

We hit some bars to get some local intelligence. The details were a bit sparse, so we shook the tree a bit by starting a brawl to see what shook loose. After that, we went to a less… civilized part of town. Gnolls, trolls, and other less savory things afoot. We eventually figured out where this Muldroog character was hanging out. After some initial attempts to gain access were rebuffed, we sent in some magic to spy around. Finally, we attempted to see if we could gain entry from below.

We summoned up an earth elemental and had him scout around. This allowed us to pinpoint an old safe, where we then tunneled up and into from the sewers. Jackpoint… though there was a large golem guarding things. We took a few hits before we were compelled to withdraw. Somehow, Logru brought back the thing it was guarding as we escaped. Unfortunately, that triggered a trap that really put the hurt on us, though we all survived.

The problem is now that the golem is coming down the hole after us…
