Bane is insecure
Battle was joined. We opened up an area of the temple from Bane's dominion, but the battle quickly carried us outside it. We were forced to cleanse a bit more of the temple as we vectored in on their right flank, attempting to break their line. The responded with gouts of flame descending from the rafters.
As we pushed, they slowly gave way, pivoting around their champion and high priest. Before too long, they started to throw heavy hitting spells at us. First, Logru disappeared. A few seconds later, I found myself removed from the fray. I resolved to count to 45. In the event that I reached that number before my incarceration was terminated, I was going to make myself invisible and attempt to fly to safety.
That was unnecessary as I rather quickly returned to the plane I know and love so well. I called on my fae allies who made their presence known as wolves in their rear ranks. Bane did something to scare most, but not all away. As the ranks of the enemy became depleted, I through a few choice insults at the high priest, evidently earning Bane's wrath. Tyr saved the day however, and shortly thereafter the champions of evil fell, and Phlan reclaimed a bit more of its old glory.
