This is why horselords don't have books
We found a small stone of sorts on the body we reclaimed from stone. After investigating the door, we found a small indentation where the stone would fit. Upon applying the stone to the recess, the door opened.
The library was dusty, obviously it hadn't been visited for some time. Upon entering, however, disturbing voices told us the library was closed. I moved in to find some spiders to ask about what they'd seen, but was taken aback to see books flying between shelves.
As I understand it, books don't typically do that, so I reported it to Thilius. He looked for unclean spirits but found none. A bit later the cause presented itself… a sort of book-golem-maelstrom… thing. It hit like a ton of bricks, but we were able to best it. Beyond that, the library was empty. The only other thing of note was the burned corpse in the office upstairs. Whoever did it was very careful to wipe out all information on this Tyranthraxus character on the desk, but missed some stuff. Whoever did it was able to gain entry to a locked room inside a magically sealed library… interesting. It seems like the Big T guy has been around… well, forever. He has been defeated before… perhaps again
