We headed to the hallway to the west. We eventually got to a room with goblins, archers, and mini-goblin-bosses. Kethy's dropped a fog cloud to prevent the archers from firing at us and forcing all the goblins into either melee combat, or to flee.

We cleared the room, and found the archer ran. We decided pursue the southern hallway. All doors off of the hallway were storage rooms with crates of pointless sundries. We came to a large, empty room, with miscellaneous junk, a store room south of it only filled with more sundries.

From there, we headed east. We found ourselves in the dining room, with about 25 goblins. A fight broke out. In a fit of panic, I forgot to fireball them. Everyone looked at me in a panic as the hoard rushed in. After Logru and Thilius took a beating, I got myself together and obliterated almost everyone with a precise, powerful fireball.

After everyone was softened up quiet a bit, the stragglers were cleaned up in short order by everyone else.

We checked out the two rooms connected here: an empty kitchen and an empty storage room full of foodstuffs. We found some healing potions in here, pocked them and headed back up the northern path.

Another storage room, again empty. It had a barracks room connected to it, also empty.

Kethys had made a pitch to make our way back to the entrance to hopefully exit and spend an evening recovering, before coming back and clearing everything out. But alas, it was not to be. We returned to the main room and found the half-orc boss waiting for us with 6 elite half-orc lieutenants, and half a dozen goblin peons.

He announced, in an almost bored fashion, for his troops to press forward, while some units go around behind us, and then we will be crushed, and out of his hair.

Well, no way out then. So be it.
