====== Character Creation ======

The setting is Forgotten Realms and the campaign will be based off of the original Pool of Radiance storyline. The location is the ruined city of Phlan on the north shore of the Moonsea, in the year 1356 DR, pre-Time of Troubles. All races, classes, and deities in the PHB are available, with the exception of Kelemvor and Cyric.

Characters will start at level 1 using the 27-point buy system outlined in the Players Handbook.

All "Ability Score Adjustment" class features will be used as feat slots //only// and never for attribute progression.  Attribute progression will be handled separately, with +1 to the player's choice of one attribute upon every even level.  The normal attribute cap of 20 still applies, unless a special class ability states otherwise.
