  • Do stunt dice apply to all flurry actions
  • Does each action in a flurry apply to -DV

Resolved Issues

Charms

  • 1st Excellency – add max of (ability + specialty) dice, at the cost of n/2 motes (racial max of 8 dice for 4 motes for DBs)
  • 2nd Excellency – add max of (ability + specialty) in motes, or (ability + specialty) / 2 successes. (racial max of 4 successes for 8 motes)

Combat

  • Once combat is joined, a person being attacked without warning with a reflexive wits + awareness to get their DV, else it is 0 (pg 155, core)
  • An attack needs at least 1 threshold success to hit, a skill check doesn't. Bleh
  • Parry DV can be applied to range attacks unless otherwise specified
  • 1st and 2nd excellencies must be invoked before attack dice are rolled (pg 145, core)
  • All charms/motes, excepting rerolls, must be declared before any dice are rolled (pg 145, core)
  • Surprised characters have DVs of 0 against the ambusher(s).

Chargen

  • Starting characters can have celestial hearthstones (Manse ranks purchased as in the core book, not the DBs book), but they should provide an interesting story hook with it

Misc

  • Poisoning rules are understood
  • Teamwork has the highest die pool of all helpers rolled, with an additional die for each helper if imperfect cooperation. If perfect, all pools are rolled. In both, successes add dice to the primary actor (pg 125, core)
  • Breath can be held automatically for Stamina * 30 seconds, plus n additional 30 seconds on threshold success on a Stamina + Resistance (environmental factors will raise difficulty), (pg 130, core)
