So after taking care of some logistical issues and sending the school to the citadel, we head to the west to find what Isha seeks. Rath had a new spell, a flaming chariot that could get us there faster. We landed in the town of Albacore, on the western-most Imperial controlled island. From there, we learned we should head to the town of Abalone.
Once we got there, we hit up the library. Our research there indicated we had to find the city of Luthe. Back during the usurpation, the city was set to self-destruct to prevent the terrestrials from getting their hands on the powerful tech in the city. It was supposedly guarded by a powerful lunar named Leviathan. There was something about a love triangle between him, his solar mate, and the solar's wife. It ended badly and he didn't take it too well and was now insane.
The location was obviously lost to time, but we had to succeed where others failed. We hit the bars, which led us to a local merchant named Knapsack who sold relics supposedly from Luthe. He told of us his research, which gave us an area where it most likely located, and informed us what we would need to get there.
With that info in hand, Isha used her solar-ness to commandeer a ship with a diving bell and sailed to the coordinates. As we got ready to descend, the ship's crew asked how long they should wait, and we told them to give us three days. Given the dangerous endeavor, Rath summoned an air elemental to help us out.
About halfway down, we were attacked. First something clamped on the air hose, so Isha went to check it out. Suddenly we were beset by sharkmen, and the giant squid that clamped the hose finally cut through the rope lowering the bell, so we were in freefall. Rath used the air elemental to keep things stable for us, and Isha and I were able to dispatch the sharkmen.
With the rope severed, we had no choice but to just plow forward and hope we found Luthe and came across some tech to get us back up. Eventually, we landed, and saw Luthe in the distance. As we wondered how to make our approach, a giant orca headed our way, with moonsilver tattoos. Was this Leviathan?
