Coming from a family of wealthy merchants with a seat in the Council of Electors, Titembay's family emigrated to Alestia from Elendia almost a hundred years ago. His ancestor, Imin, was a trader who set up shop in Alestia, and through shrewd business sense and networking, cornered the market on the exotic spices and gems exported from his homeland. After a few decades, Imin the second was able to parlay his family's power and influence to a Elector seat. Titembay is the second of his father's sons, and as such, it is his brother Imin the Sixth who is slated to take over the family upon their father's death. It is a situation that is fine with Titembay, as he would rather devote his time experiencing all the pleasures life has to offer.
