Following the ceremony uniting the hands of Duchess Veris and Duke Melfir in (un)holy matrimony, the Thalian civil war ends. Life begins to recover across the country, though rumors of an insurrection by the missing Duchess Parnth seem to be omnipresent. With the fighting ceased, support for any insurrection outside of Parnth's own lands is minimal, and fading. Duchess Parnth seems to keep hope alive in her duchy by appearing in small villages calling on her 'children' to be calm and ready to rise up when the time is right.
Alestia also is returning to normal following the defeat of the Keepers of Enma. The newest nobles were kept busy with official invitations before their duties drew them out of town. Several landed patricians are said to be angling to get their daughters (or sons?) engaged to the newly-ennobled manifests.
