The stalemate at Seldermoor continues as Duke Melfir's forces begin their push towards the city, methodically forcing the defenders towards the gates. The outer wings of Melfir's armies have begun the encirclement of the city. Duchess Veris' army sits, seemingly idle.
Meanwhile, the fallout in Alestia over the Talpin bribery scandal continues, with a net of distrust being cast over all of his supporters. The Alestian military gridlock seems to have been resolved, with units once again following orders. The buildup along the Shesslian border has been halted, with units moving back into defensive positions along the Thalian frontier.
