Biography:
An Army brat, Paige's dad was an army sniper and officer in the 75th Ranger regiment stationed at Fort Benning. A tomboy growing up, her favorite activity during her formative years was going hiking and hunting with her dad, who passed along a lot of the skills he learned in the regiment. She became a skilled tracker and marksman, and took several years of tae kwan do before enlisting for the army. If the world was the way Paige wanted it, she would have been able to become a combat infantryman like her father. But the world wasn't, and so she was ineligible because she was a woman. Paige knew this going in, and instead became a 92Y, a unit supply specialist.
While serving as a unit armorer at Fort Benning, Paige became disillusioned with the military life and eventually got romantically involved with one of her fellow soldiers. He had a little side business going stealing and selling military goods, and soon got her involved as well. They were eventually busted by the Army's CID, with her boyfriend getting killed during the arrest and Paige being taken into custody. Her father somehow managed to keep her from rotting in Leavenworth for the next few years, but she was still dishonorably discharged.
After leaving the military, she was approached by a former client, a Southern gentleman named Daniel Ducane, known to many as “The Colonel”. The Colonel told Paige his organization could use someone with her skills and that the job came with a hefty paycheck and other “benefits”. With a dishonorable discharge on her service record, its not like Paige really had any better prospects. And so she became one of the Colonel's ghouls, loyally serving him and the Invictus. However, she was not aware of his role in the Brotherhood of Scion's machinations against the Atlanta Invictus.
When Ty took over as Archon, he kept her around not because he thought he could trust her since she had been in the dark about what her previous master had been doing, but because he thought she was hot. Despite this reasoning, she was still more than qualified for the position, as she is a highly competent soldier.
