Heidi is the daughter of the infamous Archmage Max Fleischer and younger sister of Timberline Enterprises CEO Sebastian Krause.
Heidi was a curious child. She could be continually found with her nose in a book, learning about things that would confound even the adults around her. She was interested in the most obtuse and strange things; she would pop non-sequitors on her parents and brothers at fairly regular intervals. The rest of her family got used to the random questions and comments out of left field, but never quite got used to the touchy, complex and uncomfortable subjects she would bring up unexpectedly around the dinner table.
Heidi was sexually active at a very young age, mostly due to her incessant curiosity. Fortunately her parents never found out about her earlier escapades, as she wouldn't be the only one to be skinned alive for their inappropriate behavior.
In school Heidi was very quick on the uptake, and she found she had a gift for foreign languages. English was her primary 2nd language, with Russian quick to follow. This became very useful for her long stint in the military later in her life.
As an adult she felt trapped, due to her father's oppressive controlling nature; eventually she was inadvertently rescued from his control, but she was not too happy about the circumstances. She became bitter and unhinged, and buried herself in research of her family history, as a result.
Then she discovered things that it would've been best she never knew about. She was pursued, and went into hiding in a convent. But that did not prevent the inevitable. She was discovered some time later, and she did the unthinkable, what only an incredibly desperate person would do: suicide.
Or was it faked?
She has had a very on and off relationship with one Joey Agnozi. They always enjoyed their time together, but things never seem to work out right. But maybe it's just that Heidi is a very free spirit and simply can't settle down in any one place with any one person. She does make sure to keep in touch with her only living relative, her brother Sebastian, though. She does have some sentimental aspects, afterall.
