Stodgey yet sharp as a knife, the Mage Guild elder, Jonathan Kirkpatrick, is the current loremaster and keeper of the books for the Atlanta Mage Guild. He has spent such a great amount of time beefing up the collection and delicately paging through the his books, that he has become a veritable well of magical information and supernatural lore.
Any member of the Mage Guild is allowed access to the Library he maintains, providing they speak to Jonathan first. He prefers to answer their questions directly, rather than just let them page carelessly through his beloved texts, since it is easier and quicker for both parties, and he has, afterall, memorized the content of many of the texts in his collection.
He can sometimes come across as a cantankerous old codger where his books are concerned, if not enough respect is shown by people wishing access to them. He takes great pride in his work and appreciates when others acknowledge and respect this fact.
