Chapter 04: Church Nabbings

[ Chapter 03 ] [ Back ] [ Chapter 5 ]

  • Met with Johnson, an ancient Catholic Nun from a Savannah, GA parish
    • Job is on behalf of Father SomethingSomething, no real anonymity
    • Some Parishioners contracted a flu-like illness
    • Flu wouldn't go away over the course of several weeks
    • All (adults) work for Aztechnology, which is probably not too accepting of Catholicism
    • 24 total, 18 kids
    • All were airlifted to emory in the ATL
    • Received a call a couple days ago from one from an anon phone, scared, asking Father SomethingSomething to get them out of there
  • Jack contacted his decker to do some research
  • I ghosted down to Savannah to inspect the church, the airport, and the Aztechnology premesis
    • Church had watcher spirit out front counting people going in and out. Suspicious
    • Airport was normal, move along, nothing to see
    • Aztech compound was normal, doing some weird squid research
  • A trip was made to Savannah
    • Boys informed Father SomethingSomething of the watcher spirit
    • Telephone interview was had with Aztech employee who knew one of the missing employees pretty well
    • Boys checked out Savannah airport, got the landing destination from their records (P'Tree-Dekalb)
    • Boys checked out the Aztechnology office. After some shenanigans, confirmation that nothing untoward was really going on there
  • Returned to ATL, checked out P'Tree Dekalb airport
    • Planes (x3) noted as arriving
    • Parishioners noted as disembarking and being transfered to emory buses
    • Picked up by a “Nurse Culley” (dude) from Emory
  • Emory was inspected
    • HR files note zero “Culley”s that are nurses (a few others had that name but not a Nurse)
    • HR Manager was interviewed, was used to gain access to HR database
    • Emory needs further checking beyond this [but it will have to wait until next time]
