We started climbing out of the atmosphere after a relatively uneventful terrestrial escape. Somebody or someone activated the orbital defense grid on us and we were instructed to land. Obviously, that didn't work for us. Part of the orbital defense grid included 3 fighters which, as later events were to reveal, we destroyed by a mysterious benefactor.

Without further complications we arrived at the space station. The others ended up having dinner with Kreegan while I went around talking to my friends. I spent a bit of time looking for the mysterious Sith Jawa. As luck would have it, I was unable to find any leads. I did spend a good amount of time investigating the animal pens, and didn't really have much to show for it other than a malodorous me that attached itself to me.

Eventually, the Baron showed up. I talked with Buhbob to see if he had any better line on where his trajectory came from, but other than a generic “Sith Space,” little more could be learned. The others met with the Baron while I stayed with the ship to keep watch; nobody really expects Sith Jawas, so it was probably time to keep an eye out. The others returned from their dinner and informed me that we had another job pending. I was cautioned not to mention anything about it; evidently it was completely off the books. They also informed me that Baron Underbite wanted to talk to me, alone. That was a tad disconcerting.

I met the Baron in my quarters. Turns out he is a Sith Lord, and not only was there a Sith Jawa, he wanted to join me as a fellow student of the Sith Jawa under the Baron's tutelage. Without really prompting too much, the Baron took credit not only for the deceased Jedi on Coruscant (by way of said Sith Jawa), he also took credit for our escaping the defense grid fighters. Charming as he was, he told me that his offer really couldn't be turned down after I asked for some time to think about it.

Not wanting to face this threat alone, I returned to the ship and we concocted a plan to defend ourselves against this. After much hemming and hawing, we settled on the plan of having Lyndee disable the weapon scanning system temporarily as we smuggled in our weapons. The others set up shop in their quarters waiting for any potential signal as I waited.

The stinky little Jawa showed up on time (say what you will about the Dark Side, at least they're punctual). I told him that I declined with regrets, at which point he pulled some hidden weapons on me…
