Entry 05: Wait, So This is the Capital of the Sith Empire?

The ship was… weird. We prowled through the hangar-bay, went up to look at the bridge, and headed down to engineering.
The consoles on the bridge were unlike we'd ever seen. It wasn't immediately obvious how to use or interface with them. Even the gimp disavowed knowledge. I could turn on the viewing screen remotely though, as I was already hacked into the ship's computers since before we'd even docked.
Engineering. Now, that was a marvel. Cookie tested out their praying platform that apparently converted dark force energy into power for the hyperdrive. Looks like the ion drive wasn't much different from ours and ran off a different power source from the hyperdrive. Something more… normal. We discussed for a long while about how to remove some of this technology and take it with us, or put it to use some how in our ship. But we didn't really come up with any workable solutions before suddenly the gimp took off running.
And, we made chase.
We ended up on the bridge where he was hurriedly activating the consoles. Cookie and Turret distracted him by attempting unsuccessfully to grab him several times. Finally, I made a move to simply sit my big ass on the console he was accessing. This confused him, and he stopped momentarily. I used my tricorder to lockdown the ship's navigation system so that even if he did regain access to the console, he wouldn't be able to do anything.
Then, I distracted him further by engaging him mentally. I had him enter the motions he was going to enter into the console into my tricorder instead. This distraction gave Turret the in he needed to finally restrain him. I analyzed the motions he input while Turret held him fast, and the best I could determine was that it translated to some location deep in Sith space. The Baron's house no doubt.
At this point Cookie let us know that he'd been revisited by his force ghost pal again when we'd been down in engineering, who told him to go to some planet called Dromund Kaas. That there was some cult there that had some information we needed to hear. I space-wikipedia'd it and discovered that… the planet's location was unknown. So we all turned to stare at the restrained Robert. Turns out Robert did know the coordinates of this planet. So I had him enter those on my tricorder for possible (“possible”) use later.
We decided to make a trek back to the Tempest to put the gimp under some kind of restraints until we decided what to do. As we reached the ship, that was when we put two and two together. The gimp was a droid. Well, mostly a droid. After some inspection, only his brain it seemed remained a fleshy bit of him. So Cookie took the simple approach from there and told him to shut down. Which he did. It all seemed so simple in hindsight.
We put a restraining bolt on him just to be on the safe side, and then tossed him into a corner while we discussed what to do. We couldn't trust the gimp awake in the ship. But he was too useful to just eject him into space and shoot him. But because of that, we couldn't really stay here in this ship. We could only make one hyperspace jump with it before it was fully drained of energy. And anyways, where to take it? Definitely not to the Baron. But no where else was really safe.
The decision to destroy it was grudgingly agreed-upon by all parties, and meanwhile, we agreed to go find this Dromund Kaas for Cookie since we had nothing better to do until we decided what to do with the gimp and the Baron long-term. So we locked in the coordinates and made the jump to hyperspace.
… and arrived at what was apparently the Sith homeworld. Holy shit. Star Destroyers EVERYWHERE. We did some trail obfuscation jumps and monitored the planet for a little while before deciding how we'd approach it. We flew in casual and were greeted in somewhat of an expected manner. We were hailed by one diplomat Jaxon Bromie. I sent him up some fake credentials and we basically told him we were here for work. They gave us the run-around, telling us we had weeks or months worth of red tape to deal with before being cleared to land on the planet, since we were an unscheduled arrival. We told him we needed to contact our employer for further instructions. And with that, he let us idle in orbit while we decided what to do.
