Heading towards where the scrags were, Caedamon and Kethys scouted ahead, with Kethys turning himself into an octopus. After a bit, we saw both of them moving arms and tentacles in strange patterns. After a while, Cademon come back and explained that they found the scrag nest, and there were 4 of them outside. While we were talking, it seems that they noticed our octo-druid, and attacked.
Najila managed to banish one of them, while Logru was possessed by his giant-bane sword, and ran in full tilt. Ash and I tried to shield the others from increasing amount of scrags as best we could, but we were taking a mighty beating in the mean time. More than once I found myself waking up mid-battle, laying on the ground. These scrags were a vicious fight, exhausting all of the physical and mental energy we had. However, we managed to finish them off, and remained victorious. We healed up as best we could, and headed into the cave. There, we found the prince, Saiel. He explained to us that the scrags had only just kidnapped him, so we knew his father was wrong. He also expanded on that, saying that he had voluntarily because he thought his father and his generals had been enchanted somehow, and he didn't feel safe.
So now we're off to see if we can find the source of the enchantment, and do what we can to stop it.
