Biography:
With his wild, unkempt appearance, Joshua is liable to be confused for one of the Beasts at first. Primal, animalistic, and savage, his Mask is quite intimidating. His Mein is even scarier- six and a half feet and near three hundred pounds of solid, fur covered muscle. Surprisingly agile for his size, and well versed in unarmed combat, Joshua is an over-sized gorilla who can easily rip you limb from limb. Don't EVER call him Josh, lest you want to experience this first hand.
The farwalker loves three things- fighting, alcohol, and women, in that order. He is often found enjoying all three at The Slaughterhouse, the underground fight club that he runs. Joshua feeds off the anger and bloodlust of the competitors and the crowd, though he has on occasion jumped in the ring himself. But mostly he watches, with a full stein in hand and a lovely lady on his lap, just taking in the raw emotion being given off by the fighters and their audience. The Slaughterhouse is also sometimes used by his Summer court brethren to test potential recruits, or just to test their mettle against one another in one on one combat.
His fighting abilities, combined with the natural stealth of his kith make him one of the deadlier warriors within the Summer Court. This is most evident during the Hunt of Leaves, held when the Autumn Court is in power and of which he is an active participant. Of the events held by the Courts, the Hunt is by far his favorite. As his time in Fey was spent mostly as quarry, he derives quite a bit of pleasure at what he views as a “turning of the tables”.
Joshua shares a close bond with fellow Summer courtier Nefertiti Ennis, born out of both spilling and shedding blood together on the field of battle. Ennis and Ogrillion were kept by the same Faerie master, and they organized an escape plan with several of their brethren. Of the dozen or so who made the escape attempt, they were the only two who survived and got out of Faerie. They never talk of the experience, and any inquiries about it are met with murderous glares that quickly silence the curious.
