Desire to be the best in those fields, particularly in the area of marksmanship, borders on obsessive. Seems like a predatory cat ready to pounce, which can be a little unnerving to normal people.

Tyler was born to a large backwoods clan in the mountains of North Georgia. Hardcore survivalists who hunted for their food, they instilled a sense of self reliance in her. While she did get to attend normal school, her family kept mostly to themselves, which also instilled a sense of wanderlust and wanting to see more of the world.

As the youngest of her siblings, she always felt she had something to prove, and worked tirelessly at perfecting her hunting and survival skills. Tyler established herself to be a crack shot with bows and all manner of firearms and won countless junior shooting competitions.

At 17, her family got into a feud with local meth cookers who had encroached upon their land. After she and her family helped the local authorities to bring the criminals to justice, Tyler had an idea of what she wanted to do with her life. Not a cop- the local sheriff had been kinda a dick and her family had always been distrustful of the authorities, but a bounty hunter. She would be able to put her skills to good use on more worthy quarry, people, and it would allow her to get out of her small crap town.

And so she decided to try and get a degree in criminal justice as part of her training path to becoming a bounty hunter.
