After completing our mission for the town, and turning the criminals over to the Council, we spent some time talking about what we were going to do next. After some back and forth, we decided to inspect the old town well and Denlorn's tower at the same time, since they were close enough to each other. The group told me of a resident sage that might be able to help us, Ohlo. It seems they had work with him before.

So we traveled to his tower without incident. Speaking with him, it turns out he used to be an apprentice to Denlorn during the time when the Black Horde invaded the city. He also told us what he knew of the incident surrounding Denlorns tower, and how no one has been able to gain access to it yet. However, there should be a key to it, but he doesn't really know what it might be.

Scouting out the tower and well, it seems that there are veritable armies around both, but mostly the tower. The well seems to be a neutral ground for these creatures, so it might be the easier task to complete. Through magic, we were able to get close to the tower, but it was Caedmon, a new recruit like me, who went right up to the door. When he came back to us, he described dragon(?) script runes around it and a spherical impression in the door itself. We were able to decipher the script, which said “When three are one, by moon and sun, the path will be revealed to thee”. Najila said that they found a Star stone from a group of orc's a while back that was very important to them and their leader. Perhaps if we find 2 other stones, we will be able to gain entry to the tower.

Deciding to back off the tower for now until we find the other stones and discover a way through the surrounding army, we went to the well. Dodging wandering patrols, we decided the best course right now was to clear out the buildings surrounding the well first. So we snuck over to the closest one, and encountered a group of goblins in there, as well as a few traps. The goblins were not much of a threat, but the traps were quite potent. Nothing we couldn't take care of, but it might drain our resources quickly if we aren't careful.
