An unforunate and incredibly deranged soul who happened to be on one of Mnemon's ships that the heroes decided to attack and sink. She had been traveling with her guardian and vague friend/relative Hagatha. Apparently Cherry is not unknown among the Imperial dynasts, as Empress Ejava and others on board her ships seemed to know Cherry once the heroes brought her on board. Maedros seemed to amuse himself by tormenting poor Cherry while the heroes remained among the fleet.
Cherry seems to have a wild yet tame imagination that always seems to be working. She is the writer of what she thinks is “adult-oriented” erotic fiction. Surprisingly, though, Cherry's writing sells surprisingly well among its actual target audience (according to her publisher): children and pre-teens.
For some reason, Cherry seems to carry these thoughts into reality and always thinks people are staring at her ridiculously large breasts or are wanting to have sex with her. She is constantly getting nose-bleeds and fainting from overwhelmingly lame imaginings of the people around her “doing stuff” to her, even when they are not talking to her or even looking at her. Quite frequently she seems to faint out of the blue, causing people standing nearby to roll their eyes. Everyone seems to expect and accept this bizarre behavior out of her, and indeed it has become almost legendary among the dynasts.
Her house is not sure exactly what to do with such an odd duck. They did consider it at one time, but eventually decided against tainting her writing talent which does seem to sell pretty well by sending her over to house Cynis for a dose of reality. Similarly, they have held off on proposing any marriage contracts for her and have decided, for the time being, to refuse any marriage contracts sent by others. Amusingly enough, so far, the only outside contracts that have been received by Cherry's parents seem to be those from 12 and 13 year olds, and house Mnemon is beside itself with vague shame, frustration but also amusement over this.
